Every Toronto project runs through the same in-house process: a design and 3D drawing stage so you can see the kitchen before it is built, milling of solid wood, veneer or painted panel to the millimetre, and hand-finishing in a controlled booth. Integrated lighting, stone and hardware are coordinated so the room reads as one considered piece.

Toronto's housing stock shapes its kitchens. In semi-detached and row houses across the west end and east end, the kitchen is often a long galley along one wall, where tall storage at one end and deep drawers below do more than extra upper cabinets ever could. In detached homes in North Toronto and Leaside, an L-shape or U-shape with an island is more common, and the island becomes the place where the family gathers.

In downtown condos, the kitchen is usually a single wall open to the living room, so we design it to read like furniture: full-height cabinetry, panel-ready appliances and handle-less or slim hardware. Every kitchen is priced individually, but as a 2026 guide, custom kitchen cabinetry in the GTA typically runs about $25,000 to $40,000 for an entry custom kitchen, $40,000 to $75,000 for a mid-range kitchen, and $75,000 or more for a high-end kitchen in solid wood or premium veneer with integrated appliances. Replacing kitchen cabinetry on its own rarely needs a building permit, but removing or altering a load-bearing wall usually does, and electrical changes in Ontario go through the Electrical Safety Authority, filed by your licensed electrician. In condos, plan for management approval, elevator bookings and restricted working hours. Because our cabinetry is milled and finished in the shop, time on site is short: most Toronto kitchens run eight to twelve weeks from approved drawings to installation, with installation itself taking about a week.

Custom cabinetry handles this with scribed panels and fillers cut to the real surfaces, levelled bases and crown that follows the ceiling, so the finished kitchen looks straight even when the house is not.

Older homes also come with practical logistics: narrow lots, street parking, tight side entrances and stairs into basements or second-floor kitchens. Because our cabinetry is finished in the shop and delivered ready to assemble, we can plan sizes around access and keep time on site short. When walls open up, surprises such as old wiring or uneven framing are best found before the final measure, so we schedule it after the walls are closed.
