Wall Units & Millwork
A wall unit is the piece a room is organised around. We build entertainment walls, fireplace surrounds and display joinery with integrated LED, hidden wire management and stone or cast-mantel detailing that reads as part of the house, not furniture set against it.
What we build
Feature walls with quiet drama.
A wall unit is the piece a room is organised around, so it has to feel like architecture. We build media walls, fireplace surrounds and library joinery with concealed wiring, integrated lighting and stone or cast-mantel detailing — finished to disappear into the house rather than sit in front of it.

The approach
A closer look at wall units & millwork.
A wall unit is the piece a living room, family room or office organises itself around, so it has to do more than store things — it has to anchor the space and, at the same time, disappear into the architecture of the house.
Designed for the whole wall
We design media walls, fireplace surrounds and library joinery to the full dimensions of the room — floor to ceiling, wall to wall — so the proportions feel deliberate and genuinely built-in. We work around your existing fireplace, television and components, concealing wiring, venting and speakers so the technology serves the room without cluttering it. The result is a focal wall that looks designed rather than assembled.
Light and depth
The difference between a flat bank of shelving and a wall that feels alive is usually lighting. Back-lit niches, warm LED along the shelves and concealed strip lighting give a wall unit depth and drama, especially after dark. Mixed materials — a stone or cast mantel, fluted or slatted panels, glass-front display cabinets — add texture and give the eye somewhere to land.
Built to read as architecture
Because everything is milled and finished in our shop and scribed on site, the finished unit reads as part of the house, not furniture pushed against a wall. Push-to-open lowers hide media clutter, while adjustable display shelving keeps the piece flexible as your collection and your needs change over time. Every wall unit is drawn in 3D before we build, so you can see exactly how the proportions, materials and lighting work together in your room and change anything before a panel is cut. On site, we scribe to the floor, walls and ceiling so the finished piece sits tight and true, with no filler strips to give the game away. The result is a feature wall that looks like it was designed with the house — because, in effect, it was — and one that quietly does the practical work of hiding wires, housing components and showing off the things you actually want on display. From a single fireplace surround to a wall of library shelving that spans an entire room, the approach is the same: design to the architecture, build to the millimetre, and finish so the result still looks intentional years later.
Questions
Good to know.
Can you build around an existing fireplace or TV?
Yes — we design the unit around your fireplace, television and components, hiding wiring and venting where needed.
Do you include lighting?
Most of our wall units feature warm, dimmable LED in niches and shelves — discreet and built in.
Will it look built-in?
That's the point. We scribe to the wall and ceiling so the unit reads as part of the room.
